We accept cash, cheque, credit card, or e‑Transfer. No deposit is required and payment is due upon completion when you receive the final invoice.

We use high‑quality oil‑based stain (and can use yours if preferred). Horizontal surfaces last 1–3 years; vertical ones last 2–5 years, depending on exposure.

Cleaning is completed first, followed by a drying period that typically lasts about a week. Once the wood is fully dry, we return to sand and apply the stain.

If the deck does not require washing, the sanding and staining can often be completed in a single day. After staining, the surface should dry for 24 hours before light use, and about 48 hours before placing furniture back on the deck.

Stain won’t peel, it fades. We recommend re-coating every 2–3 years. Simple upkeep like sweeping leaves and doing a “bead test” (water should bead up, not soak in) helps ensure longevity
